Payandeh Bada Iran
"Pâyande Bâdâ Irân" (Persian: پاینده بادا ایران, Persian pronunciation: [pʰɒːjænˈde bɒːdɒː ʔiːˌɾɒːn]) is the former national anthem of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It was composed by Abolghasem Halat and was adopted after the establishment of the Islamic Republic, replacing the de facto national anthem Ey Iran which was used prior to that during the transition period. It was replaced in 1990 with the current national anthem of Iran.

English translation
The Islamic Republic has been established,
Giving us both the Faith and the World.
Through the Iranian Revolution
The palace of oppression has been overturned.
The image of our future
is the role of our desire.
Our enduring power
is our faith and unity.
Our helper is the hand of God.
He is our guide in this battle.
Under the Qur’ān's shadow
Be forever, a lasting Iran!
Freedom, like flowers in our soil
Blowed up with our pure blood
Iran sends with this anthem
Salute to the warriors of the fatherland
The religion of our Republic
Is our supporter and shelter
Profit of our bravery
is our freedom and welfare
The dark night of adversity has passed
The sun of our fortune has begun glowing
Under the Qur’ān's shadow
Be forever, a lasting Iran!
