Patrick E. Donovan
Patrick Eugene Donovan[1] (born May 8, 1964)[2] is an American lawyer and an Associate Justice of the New Hampshire Supreme Court.

Education
He graduated from Salem High School in Salem, New Hampshire.[3]
Donovan received his Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College in 1986. He received his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School in 1990, where he served as Articles Editor for the Boston College Environmental Law Review.[4]
Legal career
After graduating from law school he served as a clerk for New Hampshire Supreme Court Justice W. Stephen Thayer III. He went on to spend four years as an associate with Goodwin Procter in Boston, where he focused on environmental litigation, before moving to the New Hampshire Department of Justice in 1994. Prior to opening his own firm, he served as legal counsel to the New Hampshire House of Representatives and as an Assistant Attorney General and Senior Assistant Attorney General at the New Hampshire Department of Justice. He was the sole practitioner at his law firm Patrick E. Donovan, PLLC, which he opened in 2008.[5]
Service on New Hampshire Supreme Court
On March 21, 2018, Governor Chris Sununu nominated Donovan to serve on the New Hampshire Supreme Court.[5] He was unanimously confirmed by the Executive Council.[3] He was sworn into office on May 8, 2018.[3][6]
Personal life
Patrick was born in Baltimore, Maryland, then moved to Salem, New Hampshire, at age 12. He and his wife have four children. His youngest son, Connor Gerard Donovan, is a renowned prodigy of the martial arts. Connor is also known for his theatre career at the age of 13 from the Palace Theatre Production of Willy Wonka. He spends his time hanging out with McClane Middleton Dan Norris' children.[3]
