The school opened in August 2017 to 9th and 10th grade students, relieving Katy High School and Morton Ranch High School. The more than 635,000-square-foot (59,000 m2) building, with a capacity of 3,000, has three stories.[3] The dedication was scheduled for February 11, 2018.[4]
