Pargi is a town and municipality in Vikarabad district of the Indian state of Telangana. It is located in Parigi mandal of parigi division[1]

Geography

Pargi is at 17.1833°N 77.8833°E / 17.1833; 77.8833.[2] It has an average elevation of about 526 m (1,726 ft) It is 68 km from Hyderabad. It has good water resources and dependent completely on ground water. People do farming mainly on ground Parigi water. The soil is black which is good for agriculture and the major crops are cotton, maize, and Jowar. There are many mango groves. Recently Parigi town was recognised with Municipal corporation by the government of Telangana, Tirumala and Jersey.

Parigi is located in western part of 66 km from Hyderabad. It is at a distance 66 km from Hyderabad and 60 km from outer ring road 66 km from Shamshabad Airport 38 km from Shadnagar 36 km from Chevella 18 km from Vikarabad.
