Pakistanis in the Netherlands
Dutch Pakistanis formed a population of 23,855 individuals (persons born in Pakistan or with at least one parent born there) according to the latest official statistics published by the Netherlands Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek on 1 January 2019.[1] Though Pakistan's estimates in the early 2010s suggest a number closer to 40,000, possibly due to illegal immigration.[2]

The Pakistani diaspora in the Netherlands is small, numbering less than 20,000 in 2009 according to Dutch statistics, but closer to 40,000 by Pakistan’s count, perhaps owing to illegal immigration.
