Ondipudur
Ondipudur or ஒண்டிப்புதூர் is a part of Coimbatore city located to the east of Singanallur . It comes under Coimbatore Municipal Corporation and part of the east zone of the city. The name of the locality derives from the Tamil language known for its uniqueness. It is a part of Singanallur assembly constituency and Coimbatore (Lok Sabha constituency). It is located about 12 kms from the Coimbatore Junction.

Ondipudur lies at the easternmost part of Coimbatore city separated from other part of city by the Noyyal river in west, Airport terminal area in the far north and railway bridge in east, also by loop of same Noyyal river which separates the town by a semi circular loop. Postcode of Ondipudur is 641016.
Ondipudur has a multiplex named Miraj Cinemas which was opened in 2021. Schools include Sri Jayendra Saraswathy Matriculation Higher Secondary School, St.Joseph Matriculation higher secondary school, CRR Matriculation Hr. Sec. School, Kalaimagal, ARN Matric,Govt. Boys high school, Govt. Girls high school, Paalvaadi and a college Sri Jayendra Saraswathy Maha Vidhyalaya College of Arts and Science. It is a hub for Intracity buses due to the prescence of bus depots and its proximity to Singanallur Bus Terminus. One of the waste treatment plants of the city is located here

Ondipudur Flyover
The Ondipudur Flyover was constructed in 2006 as a four-lane flyover to ease traffic congestion in Trichy road caused by a railway line connecting Podanur Junction and Irugur bypassing the Coimbatore Junction.

Ondipudur is a part of the proposed Coimbatore metro metro corridor connecting Karanampettai and Thaneerpanthal.

Sports
The Red Fort team ( also known as RFIndia) is the famous cricket team at Ondipudur. Team played first ever cricket match in 1998 and have won many tournament cups. Also they are conducting social events.

Ondipudur currently has 3 TNSTC Depots in the Ondipudur TNSTC Complex namely Ondipudur-1 depot which holds only Town buses & Ondipudur-2 depot which holds only Mofussil Buses while the Former Scrapyard that existed in Depot Complex is being transformed into Ondipudur-3 which holds both Mofussil and Town buses
