Noord, Suriname
Noord is a resort in Suriname, located in the Para District. Its population at the 2012 census was 9,703.[1] Noord is mainly an agricultural area, and has a school.[2]

Bernharddorp
The Arawak village of Bernharddorp is located in the resort. The village has a population of about 1,800 people as of 2020,[3] and is located on the busy Indira Gandhiweg which is gradually becoming more suburban.[4] In 1952, the village was given an additional 214 hectares of land for agriculture.[5] As of 2018, they have requested additional land.[6]
