Newsround Showbiz
Newsround Showbiz, originally named Newsround Lite, was a show giving news of the showbiz world. It was presented by either Newsround presenters, Adam, Lizzie, Thalia or Rachel, and produced by Sinead Rocks. It aired between 2002 and 2005. It was discontinued due to poor ratings.

The Show
The show ran from 2001 to 2005. It started as a daily programme and then moved to Saturdays and Sundays. The show contained entertainment news and gossip and generally took a lighthearted view of the world of celebrity.
Airtime
First the show Newsround Lite aired weekdays at 6:25pm on the CBBC Channel. But due to a lack of stories and not enough viewers it moved to Weekends at 3:50pm and it relaunched as Newsround Showbiz.
