Neuraxial blockade
Neuraxial anesthesia refers to local anesthetics placed around the nerves of the central nervous system, such as spinal anesthesia, caudal anesthesia, and epidural anesthesia.[1] The technique is used in surgery, obstetrics, and for postoperative and chronic pain relief.[2]
