Msalato International Airport
Msalato International Airport (Swahili: Uwanja wa Ndege wa Kimataifa wa Msalato) is a proposed international airport project intended to serve the Tanzanian capital of Dodoma.[1][2]

Background
The present airport serving the capital is located within the municipality and cannot accommodate larger aircraft. Therefore, the government intends to construct a new international airport at Msalato ward.
Expansion
The airport is set to be upgraded from Code 3C to 4C making way for big aircrafs. Not only will the airport be expanded but repaired as well.[3] The runaway which was earlier 2.5km is now 2.75km, addiion of 250 m has been added.[4]
