Michigan's 97th House of Representatives district

Michigan's 97th House of Representatives district (also referred to as Michigan's 97th House district) is a legislative district within the Michigan House of Representatives located in multiple counties. It's located in Evart, Evart Township, Hersey Township, Highland Township, Marion Township, Middle Branch Township, Orient Township, Osceola Township, Sherman Township, and Sylvan Township in Osceola County. It also is located in all of Arenac County, Clare County, and Gladwin County.[3] The district was created in 1965, when the Michigan House of Representatives district naming scheme changed from a county-based system to a numerical one.[4]
