Menüçehr Mosque
Menüçehr Mosque (Turkish: Menûçihr Camii) is a mosque in the Ani ancient city in Arpaçay of Kars Province, Turkey. Mosque was built between 1072 and 1086 by the Kurdish dynasty of Shaddadids.[1][2] It's the first mosque in the current borders of Turkey. There are geometric decorations made from colored stones in the mosque.[3] Restoration work started in June 2020.[4]
