Martz (crater)
Martz is an impact crater on Mars, located in the Eridania quadrangle at 35.3°S latitude and 215.9°W longitude. Martz is east of the giant impact basin Hellas Planitia.[1] It measures 97.0 kilometers in diameter and was named after American physicist and astronomer Edwin P. Martz. The name was approved by IAU's Working Group for Planetary System Nomenclature in 1973.[2] Gullies are visible in the images.
