Mark Jacobs (Blue Heelers)
Mark Jacobs was a fictional character in the long-running Australian police drama series, Blue Heelers. He was portrayed by Geoff Morrell and appeared in the series from 2004 to 2005. He was first introduced after the bombing of the Original Mt Thomas Police Station. He was appointed by Inspector Falcon-Price who wanted him to be the replacement of Senior Sergeant Tom Croydon. He left the Police Force after the death of a boy under the influence of drugs and alcohol, whom he hit with a car causing an uproar in the town of Widjeree. He is the 18th longest-serving character behind Tom Croydon, Chris Riley, P.J. Hasham, Maggie Doyle, Ben Stewart, Nick Schultz, Jo Parrish, Evan Jones Adam Cooper, Dash McKinley, Jack Lawson, Susie Raynor, Wayne Patterson, Amy Fox, Kelly O'Rourke and Joss Peroni.
