Malus sargentii

Malus sargentii, occasionally called Sargent's apple or Sargent crabapple, is a species of crabapple in the genus Malus.[1] The species was formerly considered a variety of the species Malus sieboldii.[2] The plant is a shrub growing about 6 feet tall. Malus sargentii is native to Japan but is commonly used as an ornamental shrub elsewhere.
