Timothy Jack Kruger (born October 26, 1994) is an American professional baseball catcher in the Los Angeles Angels organization.
Kruger attended Oaks Christian School in Westlake Village, California. In 2013, as a senior, he batted .343 with seven home runs and 37 RBIs.[1] Undrafted out of high school in the 2013 MLB draft, he enrolled at the University of Oregon to play college baseball for the Oregon Ducks.
In 2014, as a freshman at Oregon, Kruger appeared in 28 games in which he hit .208 with one home runs and six RBIs.[2] After the year, he transferred to Orange Coast College where he spent his sophomore season in which he batted .310 with 23 RBIs in 46 games.[3][4] Following his breakout sophomore season, he enrolled at Mississippi State University.[5][6] At Mississippi State, Kruger slashed .344/.435/.550 with eight home runs and forty RBIs in 56 games[7] and was named to the All-SEC First Team.[8] After his junior year, he was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the 20th round of the 2016 MLB draft.[9] He signed for $395,000[10] and was assigned to the Arizona League Angels.
After playing three games for the AZL Angels, he was promoted to the Orem Owlz, where he finished the year. In thirty games between the two clubs, he hit .310/.354/.388 with 14 RBIs.[11] In 2017, he began the season with the Burlington Bees before being promoted to the Inland Empire 66ers, batting a combined .240 with five home runs and 39 RBIs in 104 games. Kruger returned to the 66ers to begin 2018, with whom he was named a California League All-Star.[12] He was promoted to the Mobile BayBears in June and finished the year there. In 97 games between the two teams, he slashed .299/.357/.413 with seven home runs, forty RBIs, and 13 stolen bases.[13] He returned to Mobile to begin 2019, hitting .240 with three home runs and 34 RBIs over 92 games.

Brennon Reed Lund (born November 27, 1994) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the Los Angeles Angels organization.
Lund attended Bingham High School in South Jordan, Utah, where he played baseball.[14][15] In 2013, his senior year, he helped Bingham win the Utah 5A baseball state championship.[16] Undrafted out of high school in the 2013 MLB draft, he enrolled at Brigham Young University (BYU) where he played college baseball.
In 2014, Lund's freshman year at BYU, he hit .303 with 19 RBIs and 11 stolen bases in 52 games, earning a spot on both the All-West Coast Conference First Team and the WCC All-Freshman Team.[17] After the season, he played in the Cape Cod League for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox, winning the Cape League Championship.[18] As a sophomore at BYU in 2015, Lund batted .308 with one home run and 27 RBIs in 53 games. That summer, he played in the Northwoods League for the Battle Creek Bombers.[19] In 2016, his junior year, Lund slashed .387/.454/.531 with two home runs, 34 RBIs, and 15 stolen bases in 54 games,[20] earning All-WCC First Team honors.[21] After the season, he was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the 11th round of the 2016 MLB draft.[22]
Lund signed with the Angels and made his professional debut with the Orem Owlz[23] before being promoted to the Burlington Bees. In 63 games between both clubs, he hit .307 with three home runs and thirty RBIs. Lund returned to Burlington to begin 2017 before earning promotions to the Inland Empire 66ers and Mobile BayBears during the season. In 121 total games, he slashed .308/.373/.403 with six home runs, 47 RBIs, and twenty stolen bases. He spent 2018 with Mobile,[24] hitting .264 with eight home runs, 59 RBIs, and 21 stolen bases, and he spent the 2019 season with the Salt Lake Bees,[25][26][27] slashing .284/.350/.455 with eight home runs and 51 RBIs over 98 games.

Patrick Joseph Naughton (born April 16, 1996) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Los Angeles Angels organization.
Naughton attended Boston Latin School in Boston, Massachusetts, graduating in 2014.[28][29] He underwent Tommy John surgery his junior year.[30] He was not drafted out of high school in the 2014 Major League Baseball draft and thus enrolled at Virginia Tech University where he played college baseball.
In 2015, Naughton's freshman year at Virginia Tech, he pitched 44 innings, going 2–1 with a 4.91 ERA and 35 strikeouts. As a sophomore in 2016, he appeared in 15 games (making 14 starts) in which he compiled a 3–7 record and a 6.75 ERA.[31] That summer, he played in the Cape Cod Baseball League for the Harwich Mariners[32] and was named an All-Star.[33] In 2017, as a junior at Virginia Tech, he pitched in 17 games (seven starts) in which he went 2–6 with a 6.24 ERA, striking out 63 batters in 57 2⁄3 innings.[34] After his junior year, he was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the ninth round of the 2017 Major League Baseball draft.[35]
Naughton signed with the Reds[36] and made his professional debut with the Billings Mustangs.[37] In 14 games (12 starts), he went 3–3 with a 3.15 ERA, striking out 63 batters in sixty innings[38] and earning Pioneer League All-Star honors.[39] In 2018, he played with the Dayton Dragons,[40][41][42] pitching to a 5–10 record and 4.03 ERA over 28 starts.[43] He began 2019 with the Daytona Tortugas,[44] with whom he was named a Florida State League All-Star,[45][46] before being promoted to the Chattanooga Lookouts in May, finishing the season there. Over 28 starts between the two clubs, Naughton pitched to an 11–12 record with a 3.32 ERA, striking out 131 over 157 innings.[47]
On August 31, 2020, the Reds traded Naughton to the Los Angeles Angels for Brian Goodwin.[48]

Oliver Ortega (born October 2, 1996) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher in the Los Angeles Angels organization.
Ortega signed with the Los Angeles Angels as an international free agent on February 10, 2015.[49][50] He spent the 2015 season with the DSL Angels, going 1–3 with a 4.33 ERA over 43 2⁄3 innings.[51] He spent the 2016 season with the AZL Angels, going 2–3 with a 2.83 ERA over 28 2⁄3 innings.[51] Ortega did not appear in a game in 2017.[51] He spent the 2018 season with the Burlington Bees, going 4–5 with a 3.51 ERA over 82 innings.[51] Ortega split the 2019 season between the Inland Empire 66ers and the Mobile BayBears, going a combined 4–5 with a 3.34 ERA and 121 strikeouts over 94 1⁄3 innings.[52][49] Ortega was a 2019 California League All-Star.[53]

Chris Rodriguez (born July 20, 1998) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Los Angeles Angels organization.
Rodriguez attended Monsignor Edward Pace High School in Miami Gardens, Florida. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the fourth round of the 2016 MLB Draft.[54] He missed all of 2018 and most of 2019 due to a back injury.[55]
The Angels added Rodriguez to their 40-man roster after the 2020 season.[56]

José Alberto Rivera (born February 14, 1997) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels of Major League Baseball.
Rivera signed with the Houston Astros for a $10,000 signing bonus in 2016. In the 2019 season, he recorded 95 strikeouts in 75 2⁄3 innings pitched, using a fastball that can reach 102 miles per hour (164 km/h).[57] The Los Angeles Angels selected Rivera from the Astros in the 2020 Rule 5 draft.[58]

José Rojas (born February 24, 1993) is an American professional baseball infielder in the Los Angeles Angels organization.
Rojas attended Anaheim High School in Anaheim, California.[59] Undrafted out of high school, Rojas attended Fullerton College in Fullerton, California for two years (2013 and 2014).[60] He then transferred to Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California for his final two years (2015 and 2016) of college baseball.[61] Rojas was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the 36th round, with the 1086th overall selection, of the 2016 MLB draft.[62][63]
Rojas made his professional debut in 2016 with the Orem Owlz, hitting .308/.372/.471/.843 with 5 home runs and 31 RBI.[64] He split the 2017 season between the Inland Empire 66ers and the Mobile BayBears, combining to hit .286/.321/.438/.759 with 11 home runs and 70 RBI.[60] Rojas split the 2018 season between Mobile and the Salt Lake Bees, hitting a combined .289/.355/.501/.856 with 17 home runs and 71 RBI.[65] He was assigned back to Salt Lake for the 2019 season,[65][66] slashing .293/.362/.577 with 31 home runs and 107 RBIs over 126 games.

Héctor Manuel Yan (born April 26, 1999) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher in the Los Angeles Angels organization.
Yan signed with the Los Angeles Angels as an international free agent in August 2015. He made his professional debut in 2016 with the Dominican Summer League Angels. He pitched 2017 for the Arizona League Angels and 2018 for the Orem Owlz.
Yan pitched 2019 for the Burlington Bees.[67][68] In August, he combined with three other pitchers to throw a no-hitter.[69] He was named the Angels minor league pitching prospect of the year by MLB Pipeline in 2019 after recording a 3.39 earned run average (ERA) and 148 strikeouts.[70] Yan was added to the Angeles 40-man roster following the 2019 season.[71]
