Lithospheric mantle
The lithospheric mantle is the uppermost solid part of mantle.
The lithospheric mantle is subdivided into the subcontinental lithospheric mantle associated with the continental lithosphere[1] and oceanic lithospheric mantle, associated with the oceanic lithosphere.[2]
