List of national constitutions
The following is a list of existing national constitutions by country, semi-recognized countries, and by codification. It excludes those such as the Polish Constitution of 1791 and the Spanish Constitution of 1812 (constitutions that once existed but were later repealed).
Codified constitutions (most recent, in use today)
A codified constitution is a constitution that is contained in a single document, which is the single source of constitutional law in a state. An uncodified constitution is one that is not contained in a single document, but consists of several different sources, which may be written or unwritten.

Uncodified constitutions

Approximate dates have been listed below based on fundamental founding documents on governance of the respective countries.
