- The Crusaders' normal home of AMI Stadium, capacity 36,000, was heavily damaged in the February 2011 Christchurch earthquake.
Following the 2011 earthquake, the Crusaders hosted a home game against the Sharks at Twickenham Stadium, London. During the 2016 season the Chiefs hosted the Crusaders at the National Stadium, Suva, Fiji.
