Leah McNamara

Leah McNamara is an Irish actress known for playing Rosalind Devlin in the 2019 BBC/Starz/RTÉ mini-series Dublin Murders.[1][2][3][4] She played Aud in Vikings.[5] She also starred in Hugh O'Conor's 2019 film, Metal Heart.[6] She has been cast as Rachel in the 2020 BBC Three/Hulu series, Normal People.[1][7]

Early life and education

McNamara is from County Limerick.[5][8] Her father is also an actor, Brian McNamara. Leah attended Monaleen NS and Castletroy College before going on to study Drama and Theatre at University College Cork, graduating in 2015.[9] She then trained at Bow Street Academy in Dublin, graduating in 2017.[10]
