Laksham Junction railway station
Laksam Railway Junction is one of the five biggest junctions of Bangladesh. It is situated at Laksham sub-district of Comilla district. A junction, in the context of rail transport, is a place at which two or more rail routes converge or diverge. Rail transport operations refer to stations that lie on or near a railway junction as a junction station. Laksam is a junction station.[2]

History
Laksham Junction Railway Station was established over 300 acres of land in 1893. Laksham Junction Railway Station currently has a big building along with four platforms. About 20 pairs of trains run daily along this station.
