Lagos railway station
The Lagos railway station is the western terminus of the Algarve line, which serves the city of Lagos, in the Faro District, in Portugal. It opened on the 7th of July 1922.[1] The building was replaced by a new structure in 2003. Lagos railway station is one of the two most extreme points in the Eurasian rail network. The other extreme is located in Phước Diêm, Vietnam. This is set to change in December 2021 upon the completion of the Boten–Vientiane railway at which point the furthest extremes in the Eurasian rail network will be Sintra, Portugal and Singapore.
