Korle-Bu Nurses Training College

The Korle Bu Nurses Training College is public tertiary health institution in Accra in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.[1][2] The college is in the Accra Metropolitan Assembly.[3] The activities of the institution is supervised by the Ministry of Education. The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology awards a Diploma in Nursing after students from the institution have successfully completed a three-year nursing training programme. The institution is accredited by the National Accreditation Board.[4] The Nurses and Midwifery Council (NMC) regulates the activities, curriculum and examination of the School. The Council's mandate Is enshrined under section 4(1) of N.R.C.D 117.[5] The establishment of the college was supervised by Agnes Yewande Savage, the first West African woman medical doctor.[6]
