Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice
The Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice (KYDJJ) is a state agency of Kentucky headquartered in unincorporated Franklin County, near Frankfort.[1] The agency operates juvenile correctional facilities.
It was established after a 1996 act of the Kentucky General Assembly.[2]

- Lincoln Village Regional Juvenile Detention Center (LVRJDC), Elizabethtown
- McCracken Regional Juvenile Detention Center (MRJDC), Paducah

- Louisville Metro Youth Detention Services (LMYDS), Louisville
Youth Development Centers
These are places for adjudicated (convicted of juvenile crimes) youth who are to be treated.[3]
