In the 2017 summer, Hevia joined Madhya Bharat SC as their director of football, and later acted as an assistant manager. In 2018, he was briefly the manager of Thimphu FC in Bhutan, before returning to India in May of the following year to work as Shillong Lajong FC's director of football.[5]
