Joachim Gunsalam

Datuk Joachim Gunsalam (born 22 January 1958) is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Deputy Chief Minister III and State Minister of Industrial Development of Sabah since his coalition, Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) clinched victory in the 2020 state election in September 2020. He has served as the Member of Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Kundasang since March 2004. He is a member and the Vice-President of the United Sabah Party (PBS) which is aligned with the ruling Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition both in federal and state levels.[2][3] In 12 September 2020, his Party (United Sabah Party), agreed to join the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Coalition with Agreement of SAPP, STAR, PPBM, and BN. After all agreement, The new Coalition "Gabungan Rakyat Sabah" (GRS) was officially made in Sabah.
