Jhalar railway station
Jhalar railway station (Urdu: جھلار ریلوے اسٹیشن) is located in District Attock, Punjab, Pakistan on railway track from Attock to Basal.This track was opened in 1891.A beautiful hilly passage with seven long tunnels between Attock and Jhalar station. These tunnels were built under British Railways in 1895–97. There are bungalows for railway officials that were once populated with families but now are just ruins showing negligence of railway authorities. There is no electricity, the railway officials use solar panels at nights for lightning. Currently the track is passage of two trains; Attock Passenger and Khushal Khan Khattak Express.
