Janów, Chełm County

Janów [ˈjanuf] (Ukrainian: Янів, romanized: Yaniv; german, Wilhelmswald[1]) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Chełm, within Chełm County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland.[2] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-west of Pokrówka (the gmina seat), 7 km (4 mi) west of Chełm, and 58 km (36 mi) east of the regional capital Lublin.
