Jamesan, California
Jamesan (formerly, Jamison and Jameson)[2] is an unincorporated community in Fresno County, California.[1] It is located on the Southern Pacific Railroad, 8 miles (13 km) west of Kerman,[2] at an elevation of 177 feet (54 m).[1]

Jamison post office opened in 1893, its name was changed to Jameson in 1911, and it closed in 1912.[2] The name honors J.G. James, its first postmaster.[2]
