Iran at the 2020 Summer Paralympics
Iran will be competing at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan, from 24 August to 5 September 2021. This will be their ninth consecutive appearance at the Summer Paralympics since 1988.

Iran sent one cyclist after successfully getting a slot in the 2018 UCI Nations Ranking Allocation quota for the Asian.[2][3][4]
Paracanoeing
Iran has qualified one athlete in Women's KL3 events.
Shooting
Seyedmohammadreza Mirshafiei, Sareh Javanmardi, Mahdi Zamanishurabi, Samira Eram & Roghayeh Shojaei qualified for Iran.[5]
Sitting Volleyball
Iran's men's sitting volleyball team qualified for the 2020 Summer Paralympics after winning the 2018 World ParaVolley Championships.[6][7][8]
Taekwondo
Para taekwondo makes its debut appearance in the Paralympic programme, Mahdi Pourrahnama & Asghar Aziziaghdam qualified to compete at the 2020 Summer Paralympics via African Continental Qualification.[9]
Wheelchair basketball
Iran's men's wheelchair basketball team qualified for the 2020 Summer Paralympics after finishing in top three at the 2019 IWBF Asia Oceania Wheelchair Basketball Championship in Pattaya, Thailand.
