Ibrahim Sulaiman Sait, then national president of the Indian Union Muslim League, rebelled against the party and formed the Indian National League in the mid-1990s (over the Babri Masjid dispute).[1][2] The move was in protest against the decision of the party to continue with the Indian National Congress-led United Democratic Front alliance government in Kerala.[3]
P. T. A. Rahim, formerly with National Secular Conference, represents the Kunnamangalam Constituency for Indian National League in Kerala Legislative Assembly.
