Production
In September 2020, Ben Wheatley announced he had written and directed a horror film over the course of 15 days in August 2020.[2][3] In November 2020, it was announced that the cast included Joel Fry, Ellora Torchia, Hayley Squires and Reece Shearsmith, and that Neon was set to distribute in the United States.[4]

The film had its world premiere at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival on January 29, 2021.[1]
Critical response
On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has an approval rating of 79% based on reviews from 52 critics, with an average rating of 7/10.[5]
