The album featured original Big Star members Alex Chilton and Jody Stephens, with two more recent recruits, Jon Auer and Ken Stringfellow. Auer and Stringfellow had been members of The Posies before joining Big Star for sporadic live performances and tours since 1993.[4] Big Star did not tour in support of the album.
"Mine Exclusively" was originally recorded by The Olympics in 1966.
Reception
The album received generally poor or mediocre reviews. Pichfork described it as "not much more than adequate power pop".[3]
