Husain Dalwai

Husain Dalwai, (b 1943), is a politician from Indian National Congress party.

He was born on 16 February 1943 and is a trade unionist, journalist and writer by profession.[1] He represented Congress Party in Maharashtra Legislative Council (as MLC) from 1998 to 2003. During this term, he was also a minister from Oct 1999 to March 2001. In June 2010 he was again elected to Maharashtra Legislative Council from Indian National Congress; his term lasted until August 2011.[2]. He was elected from Maharashtra to the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Parliament from 2011 to 2014.[1] He was elected to Rajya Sabha for second term from Maharashtra, from April 2014 to April 2020.[3][4]
