The Hunan University of Finance and Economics (simplified Chinese: 湖南财政经济学院; traditional Chinese: 湖南財政經濟學院; pinyin: Húnán Caízhèng Jīngjì Xuéyuàn) is a university located in Yuelu District, Changsha, Hunan, China.[2][3][4][5][6]

As of fall 2013, the university has one campuses, a combined student body of 9,000 students, 500 faculty members.

History

The university was founded in April 1933. It was initially called "Housheng Private Accounting Institute".[7][8]

In February 2010, it was renamed to "Hunan College of Finance and Economics".[8][9][10]
