Reception
The song was received very well by critics, with NME describing it as "everything ace ever, distilled into a pendant of liquid-pop platinum".
The song, backed by the band's label, Parlophone, entered the UK Singles Chart at 98, then dropped out the following week. The band and representatives from Parlophone have expressed disappointment at the low position it received and the fact it failed to chart anywhere else.
