Grey Oceans is the fourth studio album by American musical group CocoRosie, released by Sub Pop on April 30, 2010.[1][2]

Background
In July of 2009, CocoRosie had begun work on Grey Oceans, aiming to release the album in 2010.[1] On February 14, 2010, upon the announcement of the album's upcoming release, it was revealed that CocoRosie was no longer signed to Touch and Go Records and had begun working with record label Sub Pop.[1][3] The album was recorded in five different countries.[2]

Grey Oceans received mixed reviews. Metacritic, which assigns a weighted average score out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, gave the album an average score of 60, based on 21 reviews.[4] Music webzine The Line of Best Fit named it the 47th best album of 2010.[15]
