Globis University Graduate School of Management
The Graduate School of Management, GLOBIS University (グロービス経営大学院 Gurōbisu keiei daigakuin) is a graduate business school in Tokyo, Japan. GLOBIS started as a private education venture in 1992 by Japanese entrepreneur Yoshito Hori, later gaining official university status in 2006.[4] The university currently offers part-time and online MBA programs in Japanese or English, and a full-time MBA program in English.[5] Currently, GLOBIS University is Japan's largest business school.[6][7]

History
- 1992 - GLOBIS Corporation established and GLOBIS Management School (GMS) formed[8]
- 1994 - GLOBIS publication business launched 1996 - Venture capital incubation fund established[9]
- 2006 - The Graduate School of Management, GLOBIS University established (Tokyo and Osaka campuses) [10]
- 2012 - GLOBIS China established 2015 - Live Online MBA courses launched - GLOBIS Thailand established [11]
- 2016 - Technovate (Technology + Innovate) MBA special courses launched [12]
Campuses
GLOBIS University has five campuses in Japan. The main campus is located near Kōjimachi Station in Banchō, Chiyoda in central Tokyo, which offers both Japanese and English-language programs.[13]
Japanese-language programs are offered at the Osaka, Nagoya, Sendai and Fukuoka campuses in addition to satellite campus locations in Yokohama and Mito.
Outside of Japan GLOBIS University also offers English-language Pre-MBA courses at satellite campus locations in Singapore and Bangkok.
MBA programs
Part-time MBA program
The Part-time MBA is a two-year program designed for working professionals. Classes are held in evenings and on weekends (Japan Standard Time), and can be taken on-campus, online, or a combination of the two.[14]
Full-time MBA program
The Full-time program is a one-year accelerated program in Tokyo with classes held during regular business hours (with the option of taking part-time and/or online courses as well). This program includes a three-month professional internship.[15]
Online MBA program
The Online MBA is a two-year program consisting of fully live and interactive online classes. Classes are held in evenings and weekends (Japan Standard Time).[16]
Pre-MBA
The Pre-MBA is a selection of fundamental for-credit courses that can be taken without committing to one of the above MBA programs. Credits earned and tuition paid for Pre-MBA courses will be transferred upon enrollment.[17]
Admissions
There are several rounds of admissions for the MBA program. Potential students may apply in the November, February, May, and July rounds for the part-time and online MBA; in the November, February, and March rounds for the full-time MBA.

- Program length: 1 year (full-time MBA), 2–5 years (part-time & online MBA)
