Ghari Usmani Khel
Garhi Usmani Khel is an administrative unit, known as Union council, of Malakand District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan It lies at a distance of seven kilometres west of Dargai. The Inhabitants are mainly Khattak, Swati, Bajezi, Uthman Khels, Kulalan and few religious families of Sayids and Miangan. A single Basic health unit is located near the road. Government schools (separate male and female) are present. There is a mountain having some relics of old civilization in a specific area known as Deegarh. The estimated population is around 20,786. The said village comprises small hamlets including Begham Banda, Islam Baagh, Anar Tangy, Brasha, Rustam Banda, Gul Dad Khan Banda, Saidra Jewar, Sra Sha, Sultan Khat and Ghamgeenabad. There is a shrine of a saint Akhund BaBa at the gateway of the village. This village is home to some stalwart personalities in the fields of education, literature, civil service and politics. (1)
