Getaway (Texas song)

Getaway is the first single from Scottish band Texas's 2005 album Red Book and was released prior to the album. The song was successful, peaking at number six on the UK Singles Chart, becoming the band's 12th top-10 single since their number-eight hit "I Don't Want a Lover" in 1989. The song also debuted at number six in Denmark, becoming the band's highest-charting single there, but it fell off the chart the next week. In the rest of Europe, the song was a moderate hit.
