Jones has been a member of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Kansas City Chiefs, Houston Texans, Atlanta Falcons, Calgary Stampeders and Edmonton Eskimos.
Jones is now Commissioner & CEO of the States Developmental Football League. Jones, a former player with a poor career recently attempted an unsuccessful run at the Texans vacant GM position, claiming his experience with the Texans made him a front-runner for the position. Unfortunately for Jones, he was only a able to garner 40 or so supporters among the millions of Texans fans.
