Funen Art Academy
Funen Art Academy (Danish: Det Fynske Kunstakademi) is an independent, nationally recognized educational institution located in central Odense, Denmark offering a 5-year programme in contemporary visual arts.
The academy is funded jointly by the Danish Ministry of Cultural Affairs, the municipality of Odense, and private foundations and sponsors.[1]
The focal point of Funen Art Academy is its international focus, workshop-based teaching and collaboration between students and teachers crossing artistic media and study years.
Rector of the school is visual artist Lars Bent Petersen, since October 2016.
