Fujino Ōmori

Fujino Ōmori is a Japanese author, popularly known for the writing the Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? (Japanese: ダンジョンに出会いを求めるのは間違っているだろうか, Hepburn: Danjon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darō ka), also known as Danmachi (ダンまち) light novel series.[1]

Career

In early 2013, Fujino Ōmori published the first novel in the Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? light novel series.[2] It was submitted as Familia Myth to the 4th GA Bunko Award, where it won and received an offer to have it published by Bunko.[3] The series is on going with 16 volumes till the date. Several spin-off series have been made.[4] Ōmori's light novel series have been adapted into manga and television anime series, which began airing in 2015. A mobile video game, Danmachi: Memoria Freese, was released in 2017.[5]
