Fouche, Georgia

History

A post office called Fouche was established in 1881, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1901.[2] The community was named for Simpson Fouche, a pioneer.[3] A later member of the family, C. M. Fouche, operated several mills near the site.[4]
