Flatbergium

Flatbergium sericeum is the only living species of genus Flatbergium and family Flatbergiaceae. Originally described as a species of Sphagnum, it is now a separate genus on the basis of genetic differences. The Ordovician fossil Dollyphyton has also been assigned to this family
