Flag of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship

The flag of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship is a symbol of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship of Poland. This flag is a rectangle with 5:8 proportions, divided into three horizontal stripes with proportions: 1/4:1/2:1/4, in red, white, and black. The flag was developed by Lech Tadeusz Karczewski. It was established in 2000.[1]

This flag refers to the regional coat of arms, which in the silver (i.e. white) field depicts a red half-eagle and a black half-bull under a common crown. The most important colors of the coat of arms are red, black and white.

Identical colors, although in a different arrangement of three stripes of equal width, had the historical flag of the German Empire.
