Edward Jones (rugby league)
Edward Jones (birth unknown – death unknown), also known by the nicknames of "Ned" or "Neddy"/"Naddy" , was a Welsh rugby union and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1900s and 1910s. He played representative level union (RU) for Glamorgan, and at club level Pontycymmer RFC, Bryncethin RFC and Maesteg RFC, and representative level rugby league (RL) for Wales, and at club level for Wigan (Heritage No. 170),[2] and Broughton Rangers, as a scrum-half, i.e. number 7.[1][3][4]

Challenge Cup Final appearances
Ned Jones played scrum-half in Broughton Rangers' 4-0 victory over Wigan in the 1911 Challenge Cup Final during the 1910–11 season at The Willows, Salford, in front of a crowd of 15,006.
