History

Established on November 1, 1974, DXVM was the first RMN station and the pioneer FM station in the city. It aired a mass-based format. In 1992, the station rebranded as Smile Radio with the slogan "The Voice of Music".[4][5] In 1999, it rebranded as VMFM, with its slogan, "Live it Up!", and switched into a CHR/Top 40 format. On August 28, 2002, the station was relaunched as iFM & switched back to its mass-based format.[6][7]
