Crescent Model Higher Secondary School
Crescent Model Higher Secondary School is an old educational institution in Lahore, Pakistan from Montessori School to Higher Secondary Level. The school is run by a private trust. Besides the conventional Pakistani Matriculation degree, it also offers 'O' and 'A' level programs. It has a main campus for boys and a separate campus for girls, both located in Shadman.

About
Crescent Model School was established in 1968. At that time, School was in Qaddafi Stadium then was moved to the new building in Shadman Colony in 1970.[1]
The school offers many indoor and outdoor extracurricular activities. The school has two separate branches for boys and girls. The institution provides the students with ample sports fields, auditoriums, libraries, swimming pools and state-of-the-art science and computer labs.[2] Pakistani professional tennis player Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi lays foundation of Tennis Courts in the school.[3] Crescent Model School won 9th Punjab Olympics Games[4]
Academics
Established in 1968, the school follows the Lahore Board curriculum but also runs classes for pupils who are interested in taking O-level and A-level examinations. English, Urdu, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Islamiat, Pak. Studies, business studies, economics, accounting, and Add. Math, Sociology, Global Perspectives, Travel And Tourism are the subjects are the provided for O-level. Although the medium of instruction is English, Islamic Studies is taught in Urdu. The school conducts debate and poetry competitions in both English and Urdu. Crescent Model School hosted an International Education Excellence Conference, Vision-2050 in Lahore on 15 December 2018.[5]
Boys section
Sh Moin-Ud-Din was the first Principal. The Boys section is located just in the center of Shadman Colony Lahore. The area of the place is about 8 Kilas. There are 2 swimming pools, gymnasium, and a very large school ground made available for the students. There are almost 250 teachers employed, who have a long history at the institution. 4 well-stocked libraries are available to students, who can also issue books from there too. The Montessori section, Junior Section, High School Section and College are joined collectively as one platform.

Admission date
Registrations for Admission to Montessori Section and Class 1 start in January. In February, registrations for admission to Classes II till IX & O Level are taken. Admission Test for Class I are taken in February and results are announced by month-end. In March, results are announced for Montessori and Class I intakes and from April new classes begin.
