Cora Evans

Cora Louise Evans (1904[1] – March 30, 1957) was an American Mormon wife and mother and a Catholic mystic.[2]

She said she received visions of Jesus and Mary, which she promoted as "The Mystical Humanity of Christ".[1] Her cause for sainthood has been approved by the Holy See, declaring her a Servant of God, and is being investigated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Monterey in California.[2]

Evans was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints but became disillusioned with the church and was baptized into the Roman Catholic Church in 1935 in Utah.[2][3]
